| The lace used on our products is handcut frrom full sized kangaroo hides imported by us directly from Australia. Our supplier in Australia selects hides to our specifications for cutting into lace for plaiting projects. | ||||||

||||||
| The lace is first cut oversized. After the lace is first cut, it is moistened and stretched. The stretching process finds any weak spots or damaged areas in the lace. After being stretched, the lace is recut to its final width. Now at its final width, appropriate corners are pared from the lace for its entire length. Finally, the lace is carefully split to ensure it of is a uniform thickness for its entire length. Only then does the plaiting begin. | ||||||
